Runs, Dogs, and Moving

Wow! I am the worst at keeping this updated! While they aren't excuses, there are many distractions:

  • I started a new job in March (and left that job in May)
  • Charli turned 3 and Sonny turned 2 in April
  • I ran another ultra--50 miles this time
  • I am wrapping up another class
  • I (we) got a new car
  • And, we are MOVING HOME!

Life is significantly overwhelming when there is so much going on. We emptied most of our house out and put the house on the market. It lasted 18 hours before we settled on an offer. We are praying that all goes well and we can move onward.

Currently, the plan is to be out of Indiana by or on July 3rd. Here's hoping!

Running sort of got put on pause in the midst of all of our house projects but now that things are a little more quiet training will resume. I have signed up for a full marathon in October so praying training goes well and pace improves. It's definitely going to be fun to explore new running routes after the move.

I have been applying to and interviewing for many jobs--some in-person and some remote.

Ultimately, I'm incredibly thankful for the friends and family who have been a layer of support during this time.

Since there is so much going on, I'll leave this pretty short. I plan on reflecting on the move and how amazing it has been that so many things have lined up to make it happen.

Until the next time!
